Hidden Beauties
Lately my thoughts have been caught up by the contrast I see all around. The contrast of beautiful Afghan children who play soccer in the field while a moment later a landmine takes their limbs. The contrast of a beautiful Thai woman who only knew how to make money by sleeping with men. The contrast of a young man who wants to change the world but loses his life because he wasn’t strong enough to keep swimming.
I was told not to long ago that I could be an eye piece for beauty. That is exciting and all, but in the mist of all this contrast how do I do it?

Maybe all we need to do is look. I mean really look and we can find it. The hard part isn’t seeing, it’s reacting and letting that hidden “hand print” of beauty change you and your perspectives.
Lets keep our eyes and hearts on the look out for these hidden things.

I like the hand print on the window. Where was this shot? I think facing the contrast in life is what keeps our life fresh and helps keep us sensitive to the tragedies in life.

poetic dude. thanks for the challenge. when i have this mindset, i love life a lot more, but it doesn’t always happen naturally.
